Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typed autobiography. McBride was born in Scotland in 1848 and came to Utah by handcart in 1856. He did not specify which handcart company he travelled with. He lived in Ogden and later in Grantsville, Utah. He played with Indian children in the Ogden area and learned their language and customs.

Photocopy of a typewritten biography of William Campbell McGregor by an unknown author. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland, in 1833 and married Sara Fish Smith in 1857. He joined the Mormon Church in 1850 and came to Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1854 and later moved to Parowan, Utah. He served as a missionary for the Mormon Church in 1876 and 1880-1. McGregor raised a Navajo Indian child, Jennette, and participated in Utah's Black Hawk War. He died in 1913.
