He helped to build the Nauvoo Temple and assisted in giving endowments. His wife, Elizabeth, made the first Temple garments under Joseph's direction. Includes a brief account of events surrounding the martyrdom of the Prophet Joseph and his brother Hyrum, the trek across the plains to the Salt Lake Valley, and significant family...

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a dual biography. James Gardner was born in England in 1829. Jane Threlfall was born in England in 1828. Each joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They migrated to Utah in 1855 and settled in American Fork, Utah. Jane died in 1896, and James died in 1906.

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typewritten biography. John Benjamin Roberts was born in 1847 in Winter Quarters, Nebraska, while his parents were migrating to Utah with other members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. John came to Utah in 1863 and settled in American Fork. John married Martha Bush in 1867. He ran a drug store in American Fork for many years and died in 1917.

Scope and Contents Typewritten biography of John Pearson and his wife, Mary Ann Potts Pearson. John Pearson was born in England in 1822, joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and migrated to Utah in 1853. He later settled in Logan, Utah, where he worked as a farmer. He died in 1914. Mary Ann Potts was born in England in 1831, married John Pearson in 1856, had eight daughters by him, and died in 1905.
