Biography : Maregaret Hall Ruston Alston, came to Utah in 1850

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography. Maragaret Hall Rushton Alston was born in England. She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated with her first husband, John Rushton, to the United States. He died in St. Louis, Missouri, and she arrived in Utah in 1850 and later settled in American Fork. She caught cold and died.

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typed biography. Joseph Alston was born in 1821 in England, and he joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1839. He migrated to Nauvoo, Illinois, where he knew Joseph Smith, the first president of the Mormon Church. He migrated to Utah probably in 1850 and died in 1891.

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography. Harriet Foster was born in 1842 in England. She married William Grant in 1859 and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She migrated to Utah in 1866 and settled in American Fork. She died in 1897.
