She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Utah in 1856 with the handcart companies. She later settled in American Fork, had a large family, and died in 1901.

She migrated to Missouri; Nauvoo, Illinois; and to Utah in 1852. She settled in American Fork, Utah, married Joshua Adams, had 10 children, and died in 1901.
