Perpetual Emigrating Fund Company receipts
Handwritten receipts. Erastus Snow, an apostle in the Mormon Church signs a receipt in St. Louis, Missouri, on 18 April 1855 noting William Cooper's payment of $72. John Sanderson signs a promissory note on 10 Oct. 1853 stating he would bring the Thomas O'Brien family from England.
Personal history of John Henry Roseman
Photocopy of a handwritten personal history. Roseman describes his experiences traveling across the Great Plains and on to California by covered wagon in 1852.

Photocopies of a handwritten diary and several newspaper obituaries of members of Peterson's family. The events in Peterson's life are recounted from 1850 to 1866, after which a daily record was kept until 1899. Included are incidents from Sevier County history including politics, the Black Hawk War, census records for 1895, and personal business dealings. Peterson also writes about his family, national events, and local weather and temperatures.

On the way, she stayed with her aunt Daisy Dixon in Parowan, Utah. She tells about her daily activities, Church meetings, and a young man who visited her named Jim S.
Genevieve Johnson Pettit journal
Photocopy of a typescript of a journal by Genevieve Johnson Pettit. In this journal Pettit tells of her journey from Arizona to Canada with a group of 41 travellers, her impressions of various towns she passed through, and her dates with Jim Sirrine.

Biographies of Richard Phillips and wife, Margaret Luker
Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typewritten dual biography. Richard Phillips was born in New Jersey, married Margaret Luker, and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The couple came to Utah in 1861, settled in American Fork, and were the parents of 12 children.
