The memorandum of Mary H. Parker
Photocopy of a handwritten autobiographical account. Mary Richards writes about her conversion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England, resistance after her baptism, and talks a lot about her association with Heber C. Kimball, an apostle in the LDS Church. Also included is a newspaper clipping which is an obituary of Phinehas Richards, Mary's father-in-law and an early settler of Sanpete County, Utah.

History of Albert Merrill
Photocopy of a handwritten biography of Albert Merrill. Merrill was born on Long Island, New York; joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1841; moved to Nauvoo, Illinois, in 1843; migrated to Utah in 1852; and settled in Provo, Utah. He served on a mission for the Church to the Eastern States from 1869 to 1870 and was made a patriarch of the Church in 1873.

Handwritten autobiography. Merrill lived in Nauvoo, Illinois, as a young boy. He migrated to Utah in 1852 and lived in Provo, Salt Lake City, Bear Lake Valley, Cove Creek, and Fillmore, Utah. He also participated in the "Utah War" of 1857 to 1858.
Cyrena Dustin Merrill autobiography
Autobiography by Cyrena Dustin Merrille, including her experience joining the Mormon Church in 1837, time spent in Far West, Missouri, Nauvoo, Illinois, Winter Quarters, Nebraska, and her migration to Salt Lake City, Utah. She describes the impact of a measles outbreak among Ute Indians in Salt Lake City in 1851, and an 1876 move to Arizona with her family. Also included is a genealogy of the Merrill family. The Joseph Robert Meservy and Phebe Meservy Higbee notebooks consist of colored photocopies of the original notebooks. Joseph Robert Meservy's notebook begins in 1864 and contains a number of autobiographical notes, diary notations and summaries of pioneer business transactions. Phebe Meservy Higbee's notebook contains news and magazine articles, poetry, recipes, and family records. Both notebooks contain multiple pages of Pitman shorthand.
Life of Ane Nielsen Mickelsen
Photocopy of a typewritten biography. Cawood writes about Ane Nielsen Mickelsen (1825-1909). Mickelsen was born Ane Nielsen in Denmark. She heard about the Mormon Church from Erastus Snow and came to Salt Lake City, Utah. She later lived in Cedar City and Parowan, Utah, and married Rasmus Mickelsen.

Isaac S. Miller letter to Charles Custis
Letter from "I.S.M." in Iowa to Charles Custis in Ohio apologizing for not writing on time and saying that he or she took a walk down to the Mormon encampment near their home where three thousand Mormons, mostly from England, were living while on their way to Salt Lake City. Dated May 10, 1853.
