This collection includes the personal, family, research, and religious papers and scrapbooks of Nellie McArthur Gubler.

Scope and Contents

Series contains various family correspondence, including personal letters of the Thomas and Caroline Cottam family, and those of Casper and Agnes Gubler. These letters date from 1849 to 1930. Also contains historical family information for the McArthur, Gubler, Cottam, Jarvis, and Horsley families. The remainder of the series includes Moroni McArthur's missionary journals, family and friend photographs and scrapbooks, and oral histories recorded on tape reels and cassette tapes.

Also included are papers from the Santa Clara chapter of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, journals written by Nellie between 1925 and 1928, materials from her education at Dixie Normal School, and various printed notes and papers compiled into scrapbooks by Nellie.
