Don Arlo Taylor papers, 1942-1945, 1997-2001
File contains materials relating to Don Arlo Taylor's service in the U.S. Navy during World War II and his personal history. Materials contain a short account of how Taylor received a bronze star, a citation for heroic efforts and pictures of the award ceremony, several newspaper clippings about himself, and his Certificate of Discharge were all included. Also includes the bronze star medal, dated 1943, in a case with accompanying photograph. Dated 1942 to 1945 and 1997 to 2001.

Materials contain account of the war written from the point of view of Beth, Donald Frost's wife. Describes how during the war Donald worked in the local Lockheed factory, where he helped to build the P-38. Contains the story of Walter Krauss, who Donald was friends with, and how he was instrumental in taking care of the church, post war. Many pictures of Krauss and his family are included. Dated 2003.
