Scope and Contents note Material contains an account of the World War II experiences of Don A. Buswell in the U.S. Navy as a member of the Amphibious Force Landing Craft Infantry. Describes his participation in the Normandy D-Day invasion, as well the Southern France invasion and landing in Northern Italy. In this account he describes a sacrament service he attended at the port of Bizerte in Tunisia, with two other servicemen. Scope and Contents File contains materials relating to Don Arlo Taylor's service in the U.S. Navy during World War II and his personal history. Materials contain a short account of how Taylor received a bronze star, a citation for heroic efforts and pictures of the award ceremony, several newspaper clippings about himself, and his Certificate of Discharge were all included.
