Earl's biography, written by his daughter Elizabeth Elvira Earl Cordner, covers 1846-1909 and discusses his experiences in the Civil War and as a businessman in Utah. Typewritten translation of a speech given in Moscow, Russia, after Baidukoff's return from flying to March Field, California. He relates his impressions of the "Capitalistic" society outside the Soviet Union. The item was translated from Russian into English by Nickoli Vishnevski. Also included is a newspaper clipping from the New York Times reporting on the trip.

Scope and Contents Trancript of an interview conducted by Martin F. Peterson on 18 March 1985 for the Ray Hillam war project. Baldwin participated in the Korean and Vietnamese wars. He joined the United States Air Force at the end of World War II. He became a pilot and trained as a fighter pilot in 1950. He flew missions from Japan during the Korean War, and he enjoyed the experience he gained during that conflict. Eugene Banks diary

Scope and Contents

Handwritten diary which contains an account of military life during the Civil War from a Southern officer's point of view. Banks includes descriptions of the Battle of Missionary Ridge, the Confederate retreat, and the execution of four deserters. Collection also includes a typescript of the diary and a description of the diary with background information on Banks written in 1976 by Darrell Batson. Photocopies of materials also included with collection.
