Scope and Contents

The materials are a near final draft of a municipally published town history produced between 1969 and 1970. The typescript includes numerous additons, corrections, and notes in the margins. Also included with this typescript are select gally proofs. This history centers around the Mormon congregation known as the Oak Creek Branch (1874-1877), Oak Creek Ward (1877-1922), and the Oak City Ward (1922- ). The book also includes numerous biographies of past residents.
