Printed, handwritten, and signed certificates of appointment. Wilson appoints Holden C. Richardson as "a Member of the Advisory Committee for Aeronautics" in 1915. The item is signed by Wilson and William Jennings Bryan, secretary of state. Wilson appoints Duncan LaMont as postmaster at Colorado City, Colorado in 1916. The item is signed by Wilson and Albert S. Burleson, postmaster general.

Challenge to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

Biographical sketch of Washburn Chipman

Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typed biography. Sadie Chipman writes about her father, Washburn Chipman. Washburn was born in Canada in 1829 and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1836. He moved near Nauvoo, Illinois, and migrated to Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1847. He later settled in American Fork, Utah, where he died in 1926

Handwritten and siged legal documents dated 11 and 30 June 1810. The materials include two summonses in cases by the city of St. Louis against Francis Waddell and John Reed for selling goods in the city without the payment of taxes. Also included is a statement of indebtedness.

Handwritten and signed statement dated 14 July 1817 (1 page). The item was presented in the circuit court meeting in Saint Clair County, Illinois. Chouteau states he needs to secure Auguste Chouteau as a witness to affirm that a Black man was delivered as claimed.
