Scope and Contents Typewritten copy of an autobiography and diary. Durham wrote his autobiography in 1854 and started his diary the same year. The journal is sketchy in many places and has many gaps. Durham wrote about his youth in England, his conversion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, his mission in England, his spiritual manifestations, blessings, and his migration to Utah.
