John W. Van Cott papers
Photocopies of typewritten proposals and decisions relating to the choice of place names in Utah. The suggestions were submitted to the United States Department of the Interior Board on Geographic Names in Washington, D.C. The materials were compiled by John W. Vancott.

Contains judicial conferences agenda outlines, action plans and goals of Judge J. Clifford Wallace, of the Ninth Judicial Circuit. Other miscellaneous informational papers that cover panel meetings which dealt with long range planning and bankruptcy merit are included. Papers of the Western District of Washington, East District of California Resource Committee, Hillsdale College and the Reorganization of the Ninth Judicial Circuit are also included in the collection. Dated 1975-2010.

Brigham Young letters
Handwritten and signed letters dated 1854 and addressed to Utah Militia Major David Moore. The documents discuss the survey of a road through Ogden canyon, the relocation of Ute Indians, and the estate settlement of Isaac Moore.

Account books, receipts, correspondence, certificates, newspaper clippings, genealogies, autograph book, land deeds and indetures, legal writs, photographs, and patriarchal blessings. The materials relate to business and legal activities. Also included are anti-Mormon newspaper clippings from England. Many of the items were produced by Young's sister, Lydia Young Merrill.
