Photocopies of handwritten diaries. The diaries are excerpts of a much larger work and were kept from 1871 to 1872 and for 1883. Card writes about travelling in the East United States on a "winter mission." Card also writes about the construction of the Logan Temple of the Mormon Church in 1883.

Scope and Contents Photocopies of microfilm copies of a handwritten diary. Parkinson wrote about his life as a Mormon in Franklin, Idaho. He told about working in Franklin's bookstore, going into the canyons to cut lumber, and working on a farm. He also wrote about the death of Brigham Young, second president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days, and floating logs down the Logan River to be used in the construction of the Mormon temple in Logan, Utah. He married Ellen Nash and served on a mission...
