Frank Carlson papers
Microfilm of the Senator Frank Carlson Papers concerning the McCarthy Censure Committee. The microfilm was made by the Kansas State Historical Society in Topeka, 1975, where the original papers are held. The papers include correspondence, newspaper clippings, and political cartoons, dated September-November 1954.

Robert Carson letter
Handwritten and signed letter written at Santa Fe, New Mexico and addressed to Carson's "Honored old friends" in Howard County, Missouri. Carson briefly recounts experiences and news about the war including the tremendous death toll from disease, the putting down of an "insurrection," and the activities and battles of General Alexander William Doniphan on the way to El Paso, Texas.
Cartoons lampooning the United States Army
Eleven reproduced pen-and-ink drawings on one sheet of paper. The cartoons are by an unknown author and poke fun at and lampoon the nature of life in the United States Army.
Centennial Campaign: the Sioux War of 1876
Typewritten book draft and galley proofs with handwritten corrections. The items are a draft of a book which Gray originally entitled: "Whip Them into Subjection." The book draft was published by the Old Army Press as the "Centennial Campaign" and deals with the 1876 war between the United States and the Dakota Indians.

Materials include papers collected by the BYU Department of Political Science from 1964 to 1982 with regard to elections in Utah. The papers include campaign flyers, newspaper clippings, letters, and results of elections. Materials also include several campaign pins. Dated 1964 to 1982.

Printed and handwritten certificate dated 8 Jan. 1875. Black affirms that Jacob G. Bigler was elected to the council for Juab and Millard Counties for Utah.
Peter Sutton election certificate
Photocopy of a printed and handwritten certificate. The document confirms the election of Peter Sutton to be a major of the First Battalion of the Calvary and Infantry of the Utah Militia. The item was issued under the authority of the territorial governor of Utah, Charles Durkee, who also signed the certificate.
