George John Stumpf papers
Correspondence, certificates, newspaper clippings, programs, and identification cards. Many of the items deal with Lindbergh and with the death of Stumpf. Most of the certificates deal with Stumpf's service as an aviator in World War I.
William I. Appleby subpoena for Wilford Woodruff
Handwritten subpoena dated 19 April 1855. The item was issued under the authority of Judge Leonidas Shaver and was signed by William I. Appleby. Shaver orders seven people be called to testify in the case of Utah Teritory vs. Rufus Ingalls. One of those called was Wilford Woodruff, an apostle in the Mormon Church.
Subscription lists
Includes subscription lists for reprints of two speeches given in the U.S. House of Representatives concerning the Polygamy Bill. Thirty-three colleagues signed the subscription list for copies of C.M. Pomeroy's speech (Rep. of Iowa) and fourteen signed a list for reprints of Hamilton Ward's address (Rep. of New York). A total of 14,700 copies were ordered from the Congressional Globe office. Photocopies of the speeches are included.
Lawrence H. Suid interviews
Typewritten transcripts of interviews taken from the included cassette tapes. Also included are research notes. The interviews are with advisors to films about the Vietnamese Conflict. Most of these men were involved in the war and also tell about their experiences. These materials were used as research for Suid's PhD dissertation, "The Film Industry and the Vietnam War." A photocopy of this work is with the collection.
William Sulzer scrapbook
Correspondence, newspaper clippings, essays, and a pamphlet all glued into a scrapbook. The materials relate to Sulzer's political career and his subsequent activities in Alaska. Many of the items relate to his impeachment in 1913.

Photocopy of a handwritten summons. The item calls John Taylor (1808-1887), president of the Mormon church, and all the apostles of that church to appear in court on 15 Sept. 1887 to answer a complaint.

Photocopies of daily battle communiques from 6 June 1944 to 7 May 1945 for the Allied Expeditionary Forces, Europe. These materials document the United States armed forces activities during the European Campaign in Western and Central Europe. These items were collected by Lt. Col. D. Reed Jordan, Chief, Communique Section, Public Relations Division.

Typewritten report and drafts. The report was written by the "National Ad Hoc USO Survey Committee" and outlines the contributions of civilian organizations in providing off-duty activities for U.S. service personnel.
