Scope and Contents Official correspondence of the Kingdom of England and Wales in the reign of Queen Elizabeth I, found among the personal papers of Robert Beale. Most letters are either by him or to him. They deal with the earliest years of the Dutch Republic and the part played by England in the Dutch revolt. Many of the letters were also originally addressed to Sir Francis Walsingham (1530-1590), Beale's brother-in-law, and Elizabeth's Secretary of State. G. T. Beauregard letter

Scope and Contents

Handwritten and signed letter on April 7, 1861 and addressed to Major Robert Anerson (1805-1871). Beauregard was the commander of the Confederate defenses of Charleston, South Carolina. His letter tells Major Anderson, United States commander at Fort Sumter, that the garrison will no longer be allowed to purchase supplies in Charleston.

Beaver County Woman's Suffrage Association records

Scope and Contents

Handwritten documents of the records of the Woman's Suffrage Association which met in Beaver, Utah. Items include minutes, newsletters, songs, and regulations for the group. Also includes a letter from Emmeline B. Wells to Mary A. White, president of the association, dated 1895, and a "Equal Rights" banner. Dated approximately 1892-1895.

Calvin Beecher papers

Contains posters and family histories. The posters are news maps of World War II that depict the location of battles and other war related news, dated circa 1939-1945. Abstract

Official and family correspondence, legal documents, speeches, genealogical materials, notes, and miscellaneous items. The bulk of the collection dates from 1930 to 1958 and deals with the law practice and judgeship of Lyman H. Bennett. Also included are many materials that deal with Alden J. Bennett, a prominent banker and mayor of Virginia City, Montana.
