Scope and Contents Handwritten and signed letter, dated 19 March 1895, and addressed to Barton O. Aylesworth, president of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Also included is the envelope in which the letter was sent and a newspaper clipping describing the life and career of Samuel Benjamin. The letter is a response to Aylesworth's request for biographical information. Benjamin writes largely about his publications.
