The Robert Stacy Lindsay and Alice M. Edwards Lindsay journals and family papers consist of the journals, ledgers, papers and photographs of Robert S. Lindsay from 1890 to 1948 and one journal from Alice M. Lindsay from 1932 to 1933.

Includes Robert Lindsay’s personal journals. Journals document his work life, his family life, his activity in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and his involvement in the Midvale, Utah community. Found in each journal were ephemeral materials, poetry; religious and political talks, eulogies, and speeches; business and meeting agendas; advertisements; and financial calculations. 1890-1948.

Scope and Contents

Photocopies of typed and signed promissory notes dated October 1895 and March 1898. The notes are directed to the Commercial National Bank of Salt Lake City, Utah, and to Zion's Savings Bank and Trust Company. The items were signed by prominent Mormon Church officials including apostles and presidents of that religion.
