Handwritten and signed letter, dated 10 Nov. 1846 and addressed to F. W. Fairholt. Britton agrees to meet with Fairholt. Also included is an autograph of Britton and an etching portrait of him dated 1820.

Two handwritten and signed letters. One is dated 14 Oct. 1890 and is addressed to "Mr. Walker," probably John Brisben Walker, an editor of Cosmopolitan magazine. Atherton writes about an article she has submitted for publication.

Two handwritten and signed letters, dated 7 June 1865 and 15 June (?) 1893. The missive dated 1865 is addressed to "Prof. Bartlett West Point." Blaine recommends J. Brisben Walker, "a young relative of mine," who will be attending West Point to Bartlett. The letter dated 1893 is addressed to Walker. Blaine thanks Walker for his letter which included an address. Also with the collection are two of Blaine's autographs.
