Two autographs. The first, dated 1834, states "F. J. Bancroft Westfield Mas." and has two lines drawn through it. The second, dated "June 4th 1856," states "F. J. Bancroft Bound Brook N. J."

Two autographs created on unknown dates. One was apparently clipped from a letter. The other includes the note, "'He does well also does his best.' The above does not apply to penmanship."

Handwritten and printed legal documents signed by governors and lieutenant governors of Virginia. Included are two depositions by Benjamin Harrison regarding land suits; an appointment of a county sheriff signed by James Pleasants; appointments of six Justices of the Peace by Joseph Johnson, three by John Letcher, four by Henry Wise, and three by Francis Pierpont; and an appointment of county surveyor Joshua Pretlow.
