Photocopy of a typewritten biography of Nancy Meeks. She was born in 1840, joined the Mormon Church in 1856, married Phines Cook and later David Riley Russell, migrated to Utah with the second handcart company in 1856, and married Priddy Meeks on 12 Nov. 1856. She lived in Orderville, Utah. The date of the composition of the item is uncertain.

Clarance Merrill autobiography

Handwritten autobiography. Merrill lived in Nauvoo, Illinois, as a young boy. He migrated to Utah in 1852 and lived in Provo, Salt Lake City, Bear Lake Valley, Cove Creek, and Fillmore, Utah. He also participated in the "Utah War" of 1857 to 1858.

Two anonymous, photocopied articles relating to Mormon polygamy. One is typewritten and outlines the author's belief that the Mormon Church was in error when it discontinued plural marriage. Five leaves of the document (pages 8-15) are missing. The other item is a holograph manuscript which tells about the issuing of the "Manifesto" in 1890 which formally ended polygamy among the Mormons.

Olive Andelin Potter autobiography

Photocopy of a typewritten autobiography. The item was dictated in 1932. Olive married Wallace Edwin Potter in 1884 as a plural wife. She lived in numerous places in Utah especially when dodging federal officials. Olive gives her opinion on polygamy.

George Reynolds letters

Handwritten and signed letters to his wife, Amelia. Twenty-eight itmes were written from 1879-1881 in the Utah Peniteniary while Reynolds was serving a two-year sentence for polygamy. Reynolds tells about prison life, reaffirms his dedication to the Mormon faith, and discusses family matters.
