This series includes papers from Charle H. Price's Church service as a missionary in Germany from 1930 to 1932, patriarch for the Pike's Peak Colorado Stake, and other various callings. Also included are papers from his personal life. Materials include his book Concerning God, the history he wrote about the Pike's Peak Stake, correspondence, journals, awards, photographs, scrapbooks, news articles, and other materials.

This series includes papers collected by Charles H. Price during his service in the United States military. Price served in the Army Air Corps, Army Air Corps Reserve, National Guard, and Air Force. He acheived the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Materials consist of military orders, photographs, news articles, scrapbooks, maps, and other materials from his time stationed in Greenland, Germany, and the United States.

Horace Chase letter

Scope and Contents

Handwritten and signed letter dated 24 June 1814 and addressed to "Miss Betsey Blanchard" of Hopkinton, New Hampshire. Chase writes to Betsey, apparently a girlfriend, and tells her about his serious illness. He had been treated by Dr. Nathan Smith (1762-1829). This is the same Dr. Smith who treated Joseph Smith (1805-1844), first president of the Mormon Church, the year before.

Signed and handwritten letter dated 29 Jan. 1895, written in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, and addressed to the composer, Antonin Dvorak (1841-1904). Cheney expresses admiration for the work of Dvorak.
