Kay recounts the passage of the ship "Hudson" across the Atlantic with Mormon emigrants. Kay writes about the birth and death of John Winkler, son of Anna and Hans Ulrich Winkler.

Typewritten copies of letters, blessings, and a diary. The four letters were sent to Albert's brother, Wilford Winkler, when Wilford was on a mission for the Mormon Church in Switzerland. These items are from Albert and his wife, Emma Fowles Winkler. Also included are five Mormon Church blessings given to Emma and Albert. The diary covers the years 1907-8 and covers the time when Albert was on a mission for the Mormon Church in Switzerland.
