Edward Murray book manuscripts
Two typewritten manuscripts for publication. They are entitled "Ten Film Classics: a Re-viewing" and "Fellini the Artist." The "Film Classics" book is about important early movies and "Fellini" is about the Italian filmmaker, Federico Fellini(1920- ).
Lawrence H. Suid interviews
Typewritten transcripts of interviews taken from the included cassette tapes. Also included are research notes. The interviews are with advisors to films about the Vietnamese Conflict. Most of these men were involved in the war and also tell about their experiences. These materials were used as research for Suid's PhD dissertation, "The Film Industry and the Vietnam War." A photocopy of this work is with the collection.
King Vidor papers
Correspondence, movie scripts, real estate contracts, and movie set designs. The correspondence deals with personal and motion picture production matters. The collection includes eight scripts for movies made from 1925 to 1956.
