J. Calhoun letter and note
Handwritten letter and survey notes. The letter was written from the Surveyor General's office in Leavenworth, Kansas on 25 Aug. 1855 to a deputy surveyor giving instructions for surveying Shawnee lands.
William Henry Harrison letter
Handwritten and signed letter dated 19 Aug. 1795 which was addressed to H. J. Greeneville. Harrison requests fiften pounds of flour and one pint of salt for the "Shawano" (Shawnee) Indians.
