The collection includes a collection of 30 glass photo slides, comprised of 18 of Fleming's originals depicting his experiments to prove penicillin's value in 1928-9, 11 scenes Bryner took while on a family trip with the Flemmings in 1954, and one memento from Louis Pasteur's funeral.

Photocopy of a holograph letter plus a typescript of the item. The letter is addressed to a Mr. Shaw and was composed on 11 Mar. 1926 at 706 Lexington Ave. Dayton, Ohio. Butler remarks on her ill health after being injured in an automobile accident. She complains of the conditions in the hospital in which she stayed and hopes to be able to return to Battle Creek in May.
