Handwritten correspondence. Most of the items are between Gerber and Louis von Buren and John Lyman Smith. Typescripts accompany many of the letters and some of the manuscripts are in German. Gerber and his correspondents write about Switzerland and the work of Mormon missionaries there.

Scope and Contents

Typewritten copies of letters, blessings, and a diary. The four letters were sent to Albert's brother, Wilford Winkler, when Wilford was on a mission for the Mormon Church in Switzerland. These items are from Albert and his wife, Emma Fowles Winkler. Also included are five Mormon Church blessings given to Emma and Albert. The diary covers the years 1907-8 and covers the time when Albert was on a mission for the Mormon Church in Switzerland.
