Typewritten and signed letter, dated 14 Dec. 1901, and addressed to Barton O. Aylesworth, president of the State Agricultural College at Fort Collins, Colorado. Bacon responds to a request for biographical information and presents a list of his publications.

Handwritten and signed letter, dated 26 March 1903, and addressed to Barton O. Aylesworth. Baldwin writes about where biographical information can be found on him.
Letter, poems, and an evelope, 1914-1923
Handwritten and signed letter, addressed to George L. Beam, and dated 17 Sept. 1923. Also included is the envelope in which the missive was sent, a handwritten poem titled "Recompense," and a magazine clipping of the item in print dated February 1914. In the letter Benjamin informs Beam that he has paid most of his bill, but more funds are due.
Richard McNemar letter
Handwritten letter, dated October 8, 1833, and addressed to "Richard." The item was signed "Eleazar Wright" by which McNemar was apparently signing letters at this time. The name Eleazar was given to him by Lucy Wright and the name Wright was taken as a tribute to her. McNemar writes to his son as a "spiritual" rather than as a natural father and discusses religious matters.

Correspondence. The materials relate largely to Robertson's writing career and association with various organizations. Some items also relate to personal and family matters.
Edwin L. Sabin papers
Collection includes holograph and typed letters received by Sabin. Many of these materials relate to Sabin's research on Kit Carson, and include answers to Sabin's inquiries regarding the personality, appearance, and activities of Carson. The information was of use to Sabin in his book "Kit Carson Days (1809-1868)" published in 1914 and in its revised edition of 1935. Also included are letters that relate to Sabin's efforts to get photographs of the American West.
