Also included are photographs taken of the Brigham Young University campus in the early 1940s and pictures of Japan during the United States occupation after World War II.

Includes two images of the Lahainaluna High School, an image of men working in sugar cane fields, and an image of building next to a stream dating from 1833. All the postcards have inscriptions on the verso side giving more description of the images. The author of these inscriptions and the photographer are unknown.
