Adoption record from Manti Temple

Scope and Contents Handwritten temple record. The item verifies that four women were adopted by proxy as daughters of the Mormon Apostle, Daniel H. Wells, and his wife, Eliza Wells. The four women were from the Lee family and died between 1847 and 1859.

Scope and Contents Photocopies of a history of the Aldridge family. The history begins with Frank Aldridge's great-grandfather, Joseph Aldridge, relates the involvement of the Aldrideg family in the early history of the Mormon Church, and ends shortly after Frank's retirement in 1965. Aldridge also tells of his experiences in World War I.
