Irene Sherwood Taylor family histories of Robert Sherwood and Alice Schoenfeld
The collection contains two brief biographies of Robert Sherwood and Alice Schoenfeld written by their daughter Irene Sherwood Taylor. The majority of the collection is written by Irene Sherwood Taylor pertaining to memories of her parents during her childhood. Her parents had a post-manifesto polygamy marriage.
John Taylor correspondence
Two handwritten and signed letters addressed to John Taylor's son-in-law, Daniel Harrington, dated 31 July and 8 Sept. 1886. Also included is a letter from Harrington dated 1 Nov. 1886 congratulating Taylor on his 78th birthday. The items deal largely with personal matters.
Mamie Taylor letter
Handwritten letter dated 27 Oct. 1901 and addressed to "my dear grandma." Taylor writes about the arrival of a new baby in the family. She states that she likes Oregon but would remain in Salida for a while.
Margaret Y. Taylor
Typewritten biography by an unknown author with handwritten corrections. Margaret Young Taylor (1837-1919) was one of LDS Church President John Taylor's wives and served as vice president of the General Board of the Young Ladies' Mutual Improvement Association.

Harriet Betsey Cook Teeples autobiography
Typewritten autobiography. Teeples relates that she was born in Richland, Michigan, migrated to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1848, settled in Goshen, Utah where she met Ute Indians on several occasions, moved to Pima, Arizona with her husband, and migrated to Bear Lake Valley after his death in 1883.
Mary Van Cott Young telegram to Brigham Young
Telegram dated 11 Aug. 1870, written in Provo, Utah, and addressed to Brigham Young. Mary states that the baby is not well, and she adds that she wants to come home.
