Adoption record from Manti Temple
Handwritten temple record. The item verifies that four women were adopted by proxy as daughters of the Mormon Apostle, Daniel H. Wells, and his wife, Eliza Wells. The four women were from the Lee family and died between 1847 and 1859.
Golden family collection
The collection includes correspondence, Church ordinance records, death announcements, a U.S. Citizenship certificate, a land grant and a marriage certificate for Henry Golden. There is also a Manti Temple book, the Golden family history and temple index cards for Unity and Elizabeth Maber.

Handwritten lists of names and dates when temple work was done for them. The item records when persons were given Mormon rites by proxy in an unnamed temple, probably the Manti Temple in Manti, Utah. The records were apparently kept by Soren Sorensen and Karen Sorensen.
Willard Whipple diary
Photocopy of typescript. Excerpt from Willard's diary made by one of his sons. Describes trip Willard and his family made from northern Arizona to Manti, Utah, to be sealed in the Mormon temple ceremony.
