Also included are scripts and other materials pertaining to the production of the 1989 motion picture The abyss (directed by James Cameron), which Card used to write the novel of the same name.

He states his disagreemnents with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Joseph Smith, and other church leaders, as well as thoughts on gun ownership. Documents are titled House of Short.
