Scope and Contents

Contains a handmade wood home-use sacrament tray from Fine Art Photography, Wood, and Metal Creations, measuring 15 x 15 x 9 cm. Includes a miniature version of the sacrament tray as a Christmas ornament created as a reminder of the Savior's love and sacrifice, even in times of chaos. The tray was ordered June 16, 2020, from Geoffrey Sagers, owner of Fine Art Photography, Wood, and Metal Creations.

Scope and Contents note

Materials include propaganda distributed to the Germans by the Allies intended to demoralize the Germans. The front is an illustration of a man and woman kissing. Then on the inside is the man covered in blood, dying. Words on the front and inside encourage the Germans to throw down their arms and surrender. Dated after 1940.

The collection contains one document, dated 7 Feb. 1850, signed by John H. Gilbert, the typesetter of the Book of Mormon, 1829-1830. The document states, "I hereby accept the office of Treasurer of the Village of Palmyra, to which I have been elected for the ensuing year."
