Notebook used by Steele to document land surveys he was involved in for various purposes, including mining, farming, and town plots in Southern Utah. Includes the initial town plots of Springdale, Shonesburg, and Rockville. An 1874 Hanauer, Kohn and Company clothing price list catalog was used for the notebook. Dated 1874-1884.

Alma Johnson papers
A notebook, checks, correspondence, an account book, biographies, family histories, certificates, and German currency from the 1920s. The materials relate to Johnson's life as a Mormon and a Farmer in Manti, Utah. The correspondence deals with family matters and the biographies are by family members and deal with Johnson.

Collection includes the papers of early Utah resident Samuel Stephen jones, including letters, a short autobiography, naturalization records, the lyrics to "Hand Cart Song," a Utah militia commission document, a short, transcribed autobiography of Jones, receipts, a notebook, and stock certificates. Materials dated approximately 1850 to 1914.
