Scope and Contents

Contains media guides for men's and women's sports programs at BYU. Sports represented include baseball, basketball (women's), cross country, golf, gymnastics, soccer, swimming, tennis, track, volleyball, and wrestling. The collection is not comprehensive. Also includes a small number of event programs and recruiting booklets, plus handbooks for intramural sports programs. Media guides were prepared by Athletic Media Relations and its predecessor(s). Materials date from 1930 to 2014.

Scope and Contents Three volumes of BYU yearbook, the Banyan, belonging to Chauncy D. Harris. Also includes scrapbook, which temporarily replaced Banyan for year 1932, of Edith Young, who later married Chauncy Harris. Each volume contains personal messages from the owner's schoolmates. The scrapbook includes newspaper clippings, ephemera, and photographs. The following is written inside front cover of 1930 volume: "Presented to Chauncy D. Harris by his father, May 30, 1930." Includes resumes, letters of recommendation, and correspondence while at the university as well as grades, old class rolls, reading lists, and other class material. Education Week and Kennedy Center records are included. Also includes Britsch's dissertation, drafts of other writings, and faculty addresses.

Collection contains correspondence and printed programs and periodicals collected by Herald R. Clark. The materials concern lecturers and concert artists appearing in the community concert series at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Materials date from between 1929 and 1971.
