Bronson family papers
Genealogical work sheets, records of completed ordinance work in Mormon temples, family histories, correspondence, biographies, baptismal records, and miscellaneous items. Most of the items contain genealogical records of the Brunson, Bronson, or Brownson families. Also included is a genealogy of the Gould family.
The Butlers : the ancesters and descendents of William George Butler
Photocopies of various materials, mostly typed. Collection consists of photographs, drawings, genealogical worksheets, maps, and a short history of the Butler family by Craig L. Foster. These items were collected by Mr. Foster from various published and non-published sources. William George Butler emigrated from Ireland to the United States and joined the Mormon Church. He later settled in Marriott, Utah.
Barry J. Ewell papers
Materials contains thirteen CD's compiled by Ewell reflecting the completion of his review of the BYU microfilm collection. The discs contain images, newspaper articles, correspondence, birth certificates and other information related to his family's history. The data dates from 1840 to 2004. The CD's were created in January 2006.
Genealogies of Mormons
Handwritten list of Mormons which includes the names of their immediate ancestors. The list also presents such dates as when these individuals were baptized and when they were given various priesthood offices and by whom. Many of thes individuals lived in Mayfield, Utah.
Goldthwaite family papers
Contains several documents related to the Goldthwaite family, and the Knight family by association. Includes two genealogical books with temple records of the Goldthwaite family, as well as a book with Knight family history, and another journal. All pertains to the family history and records in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dated approximately 1894-1944.
Gregg family papers
Genealogies, correspondence, histories, biographies, and miscellaneous items. Also included is a 430-page, typed book with handwritten corrections by Cleo Grigg Johnson entitled: "Five Generations of Mormonism: a Grigg family genealogy embracing the Ancestry, Life and Descendants of Dr. Anderson Irvin Grigg." The materials relate to the Grigg family of Utah and Idaho.
Harold B. Lee Library tour photographs and slides of genealogical library
Contains 62 slides and 75 photographs used for the BYU Genealogical Library tour from the lates 1970s through the late 1990s. Many of the images are of the inside of the library and explain procedures, while others are of people who worked in the library. There are also a few photographs of the BYU campus and the Utah Valley Branch Genealogical Library and three 35 mm black and white negatives of the Harold B. Lee Library.
