Handwritten diaries, patriarchal blessings, and miscellaneous items. Farnsworth gives a brief autobiography before he started his first diary in 1862. His diaries cover from 1862 to 1864 and from 1868 to 1870 when he was on a mission for the Mormon Church in England. Also included are patriarchal blessings for members of the Farnsworth family.

She also discusses her conversion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and immigration to Utah.
