Horace Greeley letter to Thomas L. Kane
Letter from Horace Greeley, Boston, to Thomas L. Kane, Philadelphia, inquiring about Kane's health, which was poor at this point. Greeley also describes events that happened recently with his wife, Ida, having traveled to England, including some mentions of her poor health. He ends the letter mentioning lecturing in Ohio and the state of the New York Tribune, which he founded. Original envelope and a transcription of the letter are included. Dated January 4, 1855.

Handwritten letters addressed to various cousins. The collection consists of three full letters and one fragment of a letter. Green writes primarily about family matters and about her life in American Fork.
Life sketch of Ellen Green
Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typewritten biography of Ellen Green. Ellen Kennedy Shelley Green was born in Ireland in 1846, joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and migrated to Utah in 1863. She soon settled in American Fork, Utah. She married John Shelley and later Alva Green and had eight children.
John Carrick Greene letter to Phinehas Richards
Handwritten-and-signed letter. Greene made general reference to recent difficulties and encouraged Richards to "continue in the ministry of the word." A clerical note penciled on the verso of the letter gives the date, 1 April 1839. Another clerical note refers to a typewritten transcript of the letter having been made on 24 September 1894.
Susan Kent Greene correspondence
Collection contains correspondence between Greene and family members, dating from between 1868 and 1931. The letters pertain to her family life, as well as temple work and other aspects of life in Utah.

Also included is a 430-page, typed book with handwritten corrections by Cleo Grigg Johnson entitled: "Five Generations of Mormonism: a Grigg family genealogy embracing the Ancestry, Life and Descendants of Dr. Anderson Irvin Grigg." The materials relate to the Grigg family of Utah and Idaho.
Sarah D. Gregg letter
Photocopy of a handwritten and signed letter dated 14 June 1844 and addressed to her husband, Thomas Gregg, in Rock Island, Illinois. The item was composed in Carthage, Illinois. Sarah tells Thomas about militia preparations to meet the Mormon threat.
William C. Gregg report
Typewritten report with photographs glued into a photo album with the report. The item was addressed to Horace M. Albright, superintendant of Yellowstone National Park. Gregg informs Albright about the exploration of the Bechler River district on the Yellowstone.
