Isaura Bentley Abegg diaries
Photocopies of handwritten diaries for the years 1952, 1964, and 1966 through 1971. Abegg was a student at Brigham Young University in 1952 and was closely associated with the university in later years. She talks of her daily activities, association with Brigham Young University, and Church responsibilities.
Account book and letters published in the "Deseret News"
Collection includes a copy of a handwritten account book, "Personal Account Book of John McLaws, Joseph City, Arizona;" a typescript volume of letters from colonists which appeared in the "Deseret News," describing in detail the history and development of the Mormon settlements on the Little Colorado River; and a copy of a hand-drawn map of Sunset, Arizona (1881).
Laura J. Adamson account of a dream
Typewritten autobiographical account of a dream told by Laura J. Adamson. The story was written down by Susa Young Gates. Adamson relates that the dream gave her information relating to a brutal murder of Adamson family members, and she says that the murdered people came back from the dead to tell her to commit herself more fully to the Mormon faith.
