Contains 17 volumes of journals kept by Sorenson from 1879 to 1908. Includes information about his service in the Australasian Mission in New Zealand and Australia from 1879 to 1881, and in the Scandanavian Mission in Denmark and Sweden in 1887-1889.

Also includes a handwritten transcription of book on the teachings of Jesus Christ that came from Nauvoo, Illinois in the 1840s, and a handwritten report from Sorenson's mission to Scandinavia in the 1880s.
