Transcript of conversations with Duane L. Bishop, recorded by members of his family. He comments on his life in Delta, Utah; work at the Topaz internment camp, 1942-1945; and learning that he had polio, 1942. Mentions his attendance at Brigham Young University, 1930-1935, including a couple of stories concerning hazing at BYU. Includes comments by his wife and other family members.

Photocopies of typescript of original autobiography. Stoddard was born and raised in Milburne, Wyoming. He worked at various jobs in Wyoming and in Vernal and Delta, Utah. He describes the difficulties in obtaining steady employment early in the 20th century. Stoddard was married to Estella Dodd and Myrtle Hamblin at different times. He tells about raising his family and becoming active in the Mormon Church.
