Volume containing handwritten autographs and poems. The autographs were written to Harriet Allen and usually include poems.

Typed copy of an autobiography in eight pages. Carroll lived in Heber City, Orderville, Grayson, Blanding, and Salt Lake City, Utah. He also lived for several years in Mexico. Also included is a photocopy of a handwritten letter to his children in which Carroll states his faith in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The dates of the composition of these items are uncertain.

Three diaries (1875, 1880-1882, 1893-1896), genealogical group sheets of Chamberlain's families, and ten photocopied photographs of Chamberlain and his wives and children. The two earliest items are photocopies of holograph manuscripts while the third is a typescript.

Handwritten records of the Orderville United Order. The items include minutes of board of directors meetings, laws, lists of members, and histories of varioius departments of the order. Also with the collection are three letters and a financial report. The letters relate to the function of the organization.

Two typewritten histories of Orderville, Utah, by Emma Carroll Seegmiller and Amy Carroll Stark. Also included are family histories of four Mormon families in Orderville. The items tell about life in the town and about the United Order established there.

A handwritten record by Meeks on writes about a wide range of topics including his reflections on his life, his various activities, and his revelations. He also records various faith-promoting stories he hears.

Photocopies of handwritten records. The items deal with the finances and the value of property held by Orderville. Most of the materials are dated 1879 and 1885.

Handwritten record books. The materials include a certificates of stock book dating from 1881 to 1886, a ledger book listing items sold to members of the United Order from February to September 1877, and a ledger book of the sale of merchandise from 1894 to 1895.
