Westover writes to "Lew" in response to his questions about the first president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Joseph Smith (1805-1844). She outlines her life and tells of her conversion to the LDS Church, her life in Nauvoo, Illinois, the death of Joseph Smith, and her migration to Utah.

Typewritten copy of an autobiography. Wilhelm writes about her youth in New York, her joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1838, her move to Nauvoo, Illinois, in 1844, and her subsequent migration to Utah. She also tells about her various marriages and her life in Salt Lake City, Spanish Fork, Springville, St. George, and Orderville, Utah. She also talks of living in St. Joseph, Arizona.

Scope and Contents This is a collection of photocopies of letters written by Wilford Woodruff and several miscellaneous items. Woodruff signed 14 of the letters as Lewis Allen, a pseudonym used by him during the time he was on the underground, hiding from federal officials. The letters were addressed to Thomas P. Typewritten copy of an autobiography which includes excerpts from a diary. Woolley writes about his experiences in St. George, Utah, including business matters and Mormon Church assignments. He also gives an account of intercepting a Navajo Indian raiding party in 1869. Also included is a three-page typewritten account of Woolley having a personal visit with David Whitmer, one of the "Three Witnesses" to the Book of Mormon.

This collection is a typescript of memoirs by Flora Snow Woolley which was compiled and illustrated by Julius Woolley Dalley. Flora describes her early life in Salt Lake City, Provo, and St. George, Utah; her life as a polygamous wife and a young mother; her experiences on the "underground" to avoid arrest by federal officials for polygamy; and the rearing and educating of her own and her husband's other wife's children.
