John Druce diary
Photocopy of a handwritten diary. Druce was born in England; was apprenticed as a baker in London in the 1830s; moved to Manchester; joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1842; migrated to the United States in 1846; worked as an engraver in New York State; migrated to Utah in 1861; settled in Salt Lake City, Utah; and served on a mission for the Church in the Eastern States in 1876.
John Eden autobiography
Photocopy of a handwritten autobiography. John Eden writes about growing up in England, his migration to Utah, and the hardships he faced as an early settler of Cleveland, Utah.
Annie Eggertsen autobiography
Photocopy of a typewritten autobiography. Eggertsen writes about her early life in Denmark and about her migration to Utah. She describes Pleasant Grove, Provo, and Springville, Utah. Also included is a brief biography of her great grandfather.
William Young Empey diary
Photocopy of a handwritten diary kept from 1852 to 1854 when Empey was serving in England as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He describes his voyages from Utah to England as well as the return. He also writes about the nature of missionary work, and the problems he faced in England. Empey signed his name "William Y. Empey" on the cover of the diary.
Addison Everett diary
Typescript of a diary covering the time from 13 to 26 April 1847. Everett was a driver of Brigham Young's ox team. He writes about the organization of the first Mormon migrant company to come to Utah.
Sarah Ann Gillins Eyre autobiography
Typewritten autobiography. Eyre writes about her childhood and her migration to the United States from England in 1854. She relates her experiences crossing the contintent to Utah as a pioneer.
William Fawcett papers
Photocopies of handwritten autobiographies, a poem, lists, notes, and letters. Fawcett was born in England, joined the Mormon Church in 1840, migrated to Utah in 1850, and settled in St. George, Utah where he served as a Mormon bishop. The other materials relate to Fawcett's work for the Mormon Church in St. George.

Charles D. Fletcher papers
Diaries. Also with the collection are letters received by Fletcher from various residents of Provo, Utah, including Samuel S. Jones, mayor of the town. Also included is business account books of Charles D. Miller, materials related to the Perpetual Emigration Fund of the Mormon Church, and some Mormon patriarchal blessings.
Archibald Gardner autobiography
Handwritten autobiography of Gardner, detailing his birth and life in Scotland. Autobiography also documents immigration to Canada, marriage, and baptism in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Also included are what seem to be financial notes from the years 1858 to 1862. Dated approximately 1858 to 1870.
