Jeremiah Stokes papers
This collection consists of holograph notes and articles and a typewritten letter written to George Albert Smith and David O. McKay of the Mormon Church. The materials warn about the Communist threat to the United States and express concern over a possible takeover if appropriate action were not taken. Stokes believed the threat came from the peasant army of the People's Republic of China, Joseph Stalin's policies, and secret Communists in the U.S. Government.
