David J. Evans letter to David John
Materials include a letter from David J. Evans to David John, counselor in the Utah Stake presidency, dated August 27, 1879. In it, Evans resigns as bishop in Lehi, Utah, because of health concerns.
Alexander McRae letters
This collection consists of a photocopy of a handwritten transcription of letters that were transcribed from a microfilm copy of letters composed by Alexander McRae. Most of the letters were addressed to McRae's children and other family members. They deal largely with personal matters, but he mentions some business concerns and recounts some of the news of Salt Lake City. Some are official letters concerned with bishopric and related church matters. Dated 1880 to 1886.
