Letter of W.[illiam] Fotheringham, with a long postscript by Josiah Rogerson, to John Steele, 12 November 1876, Beaver, Utah. Discusses land issues, and the growing concerns of mining in southern Utah.

The letter from Brigham Young to Jacob Hamblin in this collection was written about one month before the Mountain Meadows Massacre took place. In it, Young appoints Hamblin to be president of the Santa Clara Indian mission and tells him to keep good relations with the Indians. This collection also contains four blessings given to Jacob Hamblin.

This collection contains 33 original black and white photographs and 8 identifying photocopies of the Reinhard Maeser family.

Oral history interview with Anna Elizabeth Stark, conducted by Helen Candland Stark on January 11, 1982. Anna discusses her early childhood in Leland, Utah and parents, her Danish ancestry, her teaching career at Weber State, Duchesne, Beaver and her retirement. The collection includes a rough draft, original transcript, a newspaper clipping about Anna and a bound copy of the interview.
