Bound volume of histories and genealogies of the Grover family and a biography of Thomas Grover (1807-1886). The work includes charts, maps, genealogies, and photographs with the text. Thomas Grover joined the Mormon Church in 1834 and later emigrated to Utah and then to Idaho. The volume was compiled by Stephen E. Grover and Dean R. Grover.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of typescripts of biographies and histories of members of the Hammond family and their ancestors. The biography of Jasper Melvin Hammond (1882-1958) was written "by his wife and daughters" sometime after his death. Jasper, often called Jesse, was born in Providence, Utah but was raised in Marysville, Idaho. Photocopy of a transcript of an interview done with George Hyde by his son, Rosel H. Hyde, on 16 Aug. 1956. George was raised in Kaysville, Utah, served on a Mormon mission to the Southern States, and spent most of his adult life in Idaho. He lived in Downey and was stake president of the Pocatello Stake for the Mormon Church for twenty-five years.

The members of the Tonks family belonged to the Mormon Church and lived in Utah and Idaho.
